The latest addition to the Edge 40 series, in an exquisite red shade of Magenta, stands out from its competition. This bright hue covers nearly every surface on this phone from faux leather backs and antenna lines all the way down to USB-C ports on its bottom side – drawing in everyone who sees it! The Magenta color pops so much that everyone who looks at it stops and stares.

Motorola Edge 40 Viva Magenta will go on sale June 28, 2018, through Flipkart. It costs Rs 29,499 for an 8GB + 256GB model with bank offers that could further bring down its cost.

Viva Magenta color option of the Edge 40 makes an outstanding statement of its own and stands out among its rivals in style. This pop of color really stands out among all others available and looks wonderful on its curved display, perfect for standing out from crowds of devices. The Edge 40 makes an outstanding device choice.

Motorola has previously introduced different color variants of its Edge 30 Fusion smartphone. Recently, they released Green and Blue versions, while now adding the Viva Magenta variant – similar to other options but featuring vegan leather back.

The Edge 30 Fusion is an exceptional smartphone for the price, and an ideal option for anyone seeking an affordable option that provides solid performance, long battery life and an uncluttered Android experience. However, Motorola has been plagued with poor camera quality on this model in the past. I would have appreciated seeing some improvements here.

  • Uber to Lay Off 200 Employees in Recruitment Division to Cut Costs

Uber Technologies has announced plans to reduce global staff count this year while cutting costs, with 200 recruitment employees being laid off as part of the plan. The layoffs reportedly impact 35% of their recruiting team, less than one percent of total worldwide employment (32700 people worldwide). Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi recently pledged to reduce expenses while tightening performance reviews of recruiters.

These reductions should not have an adverse impact on operations and ridership, but will allow the company to focus on producing better results in the future. They hope to generate gross bookings between $33 and $34 billion and adjusted EBITDA between $800 million and $850 million by Q2 2023; additionally they hope to expand customer bases and strengthen their position among leading ride-hailing companies in the industry.

Uber has also taken steps to increase profitability by concentrating on its core operations, according to The Wall Street Journal. They have already implemented cost-cutting measures, such as cutting employee salaries and travel costs while decreasing driver compensation rates and strengthening diversity and inclusion efforts within their workplace.

However, despite these efforts, the company is still failing to turn a profit and facing various legal issues that threaten its growth.

As Uber faces competition from Lyft, which has been cutting its workforce as it attempts to recover from losses, Lyft CEO David Risher has already reduced 17% of total staff and laid off 6,700 workers through two separate rounds of layoffs this year.

As tech companies experience financial struggles such as lower advertising revenue and fears of recession in the US, numerous tech firms have made layoffs – this includes Reddit, Disney, Dell, 3M Affirm Amazon and IBM to name just a few. Reuters reports that Uber employs more than 32,000 employees worldwide; however, drivers do not count as employees of the company. Despite these challenges, however, Uber remains confident it can reach operating income profitability this year; although this will require making tough decisions such as cutting jobs in its freight division and food delivery business located outside the U.S. – with some recent layoffs having been reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Micron Technologies Aims to Make an $825 Million Investment to Establish Chip Factory in Gujarat

Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU), one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies, will invest up to $825 million to construct its inaugural assembly and test manufacturing facility in India. This investment will enable Micron to meet long-term memory and storage demand both domestically and abroad while supplementing its global assembly and test network. The project will be undertaken in phases; initial construction expected to commence by late 2024 with production set to commence shortly thereafter in phase two; both phases together expected to create up to 5,000 direct Micron jobs in India.

Micron President and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra noted that this new facility will expand Micron’s global manufacturing capabilities and better serve customers worldwide. He expressed enthusiasm over India’s efforts to develop its semiconductor ecosystem. The plant will primarily specialize in packaging chips into integrated circuit packages, memory modules, or solid state drives from wafers.

Micron’s decision to open its first manufacturing operation in Asia marks an important milestone both for Micron and for India as a nation. Not only will this facility generate economic benefits in India – such as providing thousands of high-quality jobs – but it will also reduce reliance on imported chips while supporting Make in India initiatives and supporting national goals.

According to Reuters, Indian central and state governments will offer significant financial support for Micron’s project. Alongside its initial investment of $800 million, Micron will receive $2.75 billion in production-linked incentives from the government – this investment plan was approved by Cabinet prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the US this week highlighting its significance.

Micron selected Gujarat for its manufacturing operations due to the state’s established supply chain, advanced technology infrastructure and conducive business environment, as well as its talent pipeline at SANAND Industrial Park. • iPhone 15 Pro Max Leaked Case Tips: Design Changes to Mute Button

Rumors regarding Apple’s redesign of the iPhone 15 Pro Max have been swirling, and one popular rumor suggests that 16-year-old mute switch will take on new purpose as an action button. According to case leak by Majin Bu via IT House, its current location will be replaced with “Custom Button,” similar to Apple Watch Ultra’s Action Button which reportedly allows you to perform shortcuts by pressing it once.

Leaked cases for the iPhone 15 Pro have revealed some major design differences. One shared by Twitter user Majin BuOfficial indicates a larger-than-usual opening at the bottom edge to accommodate for its USB-C port that may replace Lightning in future iPhone 15 Pro models, while a MacRumors report points out an apparent iPhone 15 Pro case featuring power and volume buttons positioned slightly lower than their predecessors in previous iPhone 14 Pro series models.

According to earlier reports, it was suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro’s current mute switch would be replaced by a solid-state button. While its current form can be flicked to control notification volume, its successor should feature a larger, wider button which you press, with multiple functions depending on which app or setting is being used.

It appears that Apple’s new mute button will use a haptic engine to simulate clicking when pressed, but its functionality remains unclear. Many are hoping it can serve multiple functions similar to how Action Button on Apple Watch Ultra does; but its possible that will not be the case with this year’s iPhone model.

Though these rumors may seem intriguing, it’s important to keep in mind that these are simply leaked cases and we won’t have all of the details until Apple officially unveils the iPhone 15 Pro later this year. Other reports indicate the phone may feature an A12X processor, 48MP camera equipped with Sony’s IMX903 sensor, and up to 2,500nits brightness for its display screen.

Apple may soon discontinue its headphone jack on the iPhone 15 series, something it has been testing out over time and could finally achieve this year. According to respected supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s recent report, this change may take place with MagSafe charging and USB-C connectivity replacing traditional connectors – though many consumers may take some getting used to, especially where traditional connectors remain popular, such as gyms or workplaces where devices with this configuration remain commonplace.

Furthermore, its large 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display will support fast charging while boasting a 120Hz refresh rate for an enhanced visual experience.

Carl Pei and his team have done hard work to recreate the aesthetics of the original Phone 1. Technical specs are certainly important, but most people choose their smartphones based on aesthetic considerations alone. So it is crucial that Pei and his team have achieved perfection when it comes to designing the Phone 2’s aesthetics.

The phone is also expected to provide increased endurance due to its large 6.7-inch display, faster processor, and efficient chipset. According to the company, its battery capacity will increase from 4,500mAh on its predecessor phone – giving an impressive endurance rating of 108 hours.

  • Apple Vision Pro $3499 Price Might Not Include Overhead Strap For Headset

Apple’s $3,499 Vision Pro headset is not an inexpensive piece of technology; therefore, one would hope Apple would take extra steps to ensure users enjoy an optimal user experience out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, however, recent reports indicate otherwise.

Apple Vision Pro will be its inaugural commercial virtual and augmented reality headset when it debuts this year for $3,499. Pricing should reflect other top VR/AR headsets on the market.

At its launch this month, Vision Pro made headlines for its technology and how it could enhance everyday lives. One feature highlighted was its cinematic spatial sound feature using built-in speakers; this should recreate movie theater-quality sounds to increase user engagement and enhance overall user experience.

But there may be an issue with its design that prevents some users from being able to use it comfortably, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s report. He notes that according to some employees’ reports after WWDC unveiling, using it for several hours at a time can become very uncomfortable due to its weight. Apple expanded testing of the headset after its debut and some employees reported finding it too cumbersome and weighty.

As it remains unknown why Apple chose not to include a top strap with their Vision Pro headset in the retail box, perhaps as an add-on accessory, it is odd that they did not go out of their way to ensure all customers had an optimal experience when purchasing this device. As many previews mentioned its weight as being an issue and this device’s price tag seemed high enough that customer service may want them to ensure everyone had a great first experience using it from day one.

Since the company is still developing software for their device and may not have completed development of the strap, it isn’t altogether surprising that they don’t plan to include one in their initial offering. According to reports, their price tag should leave room for optional upgrades like Zeiss optical inserts for people wearing glasses; an add-on headset strap may become available later.

  • US House Panel Critical of Twitter Privacy Investigation to Question FTC

Twitter’s sloppiness could spell trouble for its users, shareholders and national security, according to an explosive whistleblower disclosure by former chief information security officer Peiter Zatko. She alleges serious vulnerabilities within Twitter’s internal systems which could allow foreign governments to spy on American citizens or manipulate US politics or markets with ease.

Zatko claims he discovered unauthorized access at Twitter through what’s known as the “Your Twitter Data” (YTD) tool, which allows users to download their account information such as tweets, direct messages (DMs), media files such as photos and videos uploaded to an account, user lists, demographic data gathered about them by Twitter as well as details about advertisements they have seen or interacted with on its platform. YTD became available for all accounts as part of a major revamp of Twitter’s website in 2019.

Zatko asserts that for seven of the accounts that were compromised, hackers also downloaded data using a second internal tool known as “secret view,” which provides users with a comprehensive account overview including direct messages (DMs), media files, user lists and more. Contrary to YTD tools available to all Twitter users, secret views must be requested by entering an account’s email address, reentering password information and then requesting file(s).

Zatko’s allegations are both alarming and legally actionable. Twitter signed an FTC consent decree in 2011 outlining specific requirements on how it stores, uses and protects nonpublic consumer data; according to these recent developments this agreement remains in effect but there may have been breaches.

Zatko’s disclosure has raised serious concerns that Twitter misled investors and government regulators regarding its vulnerabilities. According to him, leadership at Twitter–particularly new CEO Parag Agrawal–attempted to discredit him and discourage him from sharing an accurate accounting of security vulnerabilities at Twitter.

Zatko’s disclosure comes amid mounting anxiety in Washington over the ability of foreign adversaries to use social media platforms like Twitter to spy on Americans, influence American politics and markets, steal technology or trade secrets or influence elections – with one former Twitter employee recently being charged for spying for Saudi Arabia. A conviction against one such actor underscores this threat.

On Wednesday, Lina Khan of the Federal Trade Commission will appear before a House panel chaired by Republicans who have harshly criticized her leadership of the agency. At this hearing, Twitter will be under close scrutiny to determine whether enough staffing exists for it to meet privacy settlement agreements with the FTC and comply with privacy settlement agreements with regulators such as Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of social media platform Twitter; other agenda items include antitrust review of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition; litigation between San Diego-based gene sequencing company Illumina over an FTC order blocking merger between itself and Grail that would limit competition in cancer tests markets – this hearing marks Khan’s first appearance before Republican control of Congress on July 13th; among many items on Khan’s agenda is antitrust review review of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s $44 billion purchase of social media platform Twitter has enough staffing in terms of compliance with FTC order blocking its merger; investigation into whether Elon Musk violated antitrust review of antitrust review review of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s $44 billion purchase of social media platform Twitter; inquiry into antitrust review of Elon Musk’s $44 billion purchase of social media platform Twitter; as well as lawsuit by San Diego-based gene sequencing company Illumina over an FTC order that blocked their merger with Grail, which would reduce competition within market of cancer tests market competition between firms Illumina vs Grail’s $44 billion purchase agreement for $44.
