OnePlus has launched a new truly wireless earphones called the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite. It offers a lot of improvements over the previous generation model and looks quite premium.

It also comes with dual drivers, Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and LHDC 5.0 support. Its battery life is impressive too, delivering up to 39 hours with the charging case.

Sound

OnePlus has always been one of the better makers of truly wireless headphones, and the company’s first-gen Buds Pro were a good buy for $149. However, there were some key shortcomings in the first-gen Buds Pro — poor noise cancellation performance and a lack of equalizer options — that prevented them from being a true flagship audio experience.

The company is back with the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite, which offers some improvement across the board. A new dual-driver system tuned by Dynaudio improves sound quality and ANC has been bumped up to 48dB.

It also supports spatial audio, which is a feature we haven’t seen on any other earphones in the past year. Despite this, the spatial audio effect on the Buds Pro 2 is a bit of a letdown – it’s too loud and has a metallic timbre.

Design

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite TWS Earphones With Dual Drivers is the latest in the company’s line of true wireless earbuds. The earbuds are co-developed with Dynaudio, a renowned Danish audio company, and feature a pair of 11mm dynamic woofers and 6mm tweeters.

They also offer AI-backed personalised noise cancellation, touch controls and dual connection support. They have Bluetooth 5.3 and are IP55 rated for sweat and water resistance.

ANC is capable of cancelling up to 48 dB of external noise. Moreover, it supports Spatial Audio for 3D audio effects, and there are five curated white noise modes available on board.

The earbuds come in two colours, Arbor Green and Obsidian Black. They are both matte textured and are built with a high-quality finish.

Battery

OnePlus launched a new set of TWS earphones called the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite in China on Tuesday. These are a trimmed down version of the company’s flagship earbuds and feature an ergonomic design and dual drivers, which is said to be the result of a collaboration with Danish audio company Dynaudio.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite are also equipped with an AI-backed personalised noise cancellation feature. Moreover, the buds are rated IP55 for water resistance and can survive sweat and light rain.

These earphones are powered by double drivers, including an 11mm dynamic woofer and a 6mm tweeter. They are claimed to have a frequency response range of 10Hz-40,000Hz and a driver sensitivity of 38dB.

Controls

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite TWS Earphones With Dual Drivers are a great pair of TWS earphones that offer a good combination of features. They feature an improved design and a better fit than their predecessors, as well as a variety of new features.

The buds are a close fit and feel comfortable to wear. They also look and feel premium with a glossy metal accent on the stems, silver charging contacts, and two speaker grilles on their head.

They can be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and can switch between them without reconnecting. They also offer an IP55 certified rating that can handle water and sweat, as well as five relaxing white noise options to help you de-stress and concentrate while exercising.

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 and use SBC, AAC, and LHDC 4.0 codecs. However, if you want lossless audio, you’ll have to turn down the bitrate in the Bluetooth settings.
